CROWN PARADISE 2

Spoke to a friend at Crown Paradise today (oct26) pool
has sand in it and will be cleaned in three days , the beach bar and Salvadors need new carpet and the 10 rooms on the main floor of the ocean front tower need to be remodled
they say everything will be ready in about a week , more importantly all the staff are safe and things should be back to normal there in around a week . Good news ...hope this helps out those of you who are going soon.

I just heard from the Crown Paradise today that they are closing for five weeks and are cancelling and refunding our reservations.

I just spoke w/ Vista Club (mgt of Playa de Oro and Crown). The above posting about closing for 5 weeks is FALSE! The Crown is OPEN!! They are repairing a few oceanview rooms, replacing carpet in the restaurant, cleaning out the pools.

Thank you all for the information you have provided. Someone has evidentally given me the incorrect information. I certainly do not intend to give a false report. It has definately been very difficult to get accurate information on the situation. I apologize for offending anyone and will research things further.
