Just a F.Y.I. for folks going to pv. We travel extensivly and have always brought a bag for gifts to bring back for friends. However we fill a bag with kids clothes ussually for ages 3 to 10 yrs old. We leave them at some of the churches outside p.v. in the small villages they need it and its very well appriciated by the local working families.

Clothes are good as are school supplies. One suggestion is buy crayons, paper. pencils, books etc in PV at discounters, office supplies etc. if you do not want to lug a extra bag. Check with a local school to see what they need most.

have to agree with Jennybean... it is funny to see us gringos running around in shorts and t-shirts and the locals are all bundled up like it is freezing... but it is to them... good idea and thoughts one and all... thanks for the postings...
