Im travelling to PV from the UK very soon, but am completely confused about what currency to bring. The travel agent has told me that Pesos are generally used as tips, and that American Dollars are more widely used for larger purchases i.e. trips, eating out etc. However I was talking to a guy who had been to PV a couple of years ago and he said that Pesos were fine. Who is right? Hope you can help.
