drinking age and taxis

this is my first trip to p.v. and i have a couple questions. first, can any one tell me if there is a drinking age? second, when you get a taxi from the airport, do you pay by the person or by the taxi? we will have six people in our party? thanks....;-)

thanks for the info. we will be staying at paradise village in nuevo vallarta (sp). so im not sure if that is farther from the airport than say from the airport to the the south side.
