family visit toPV in 4 weeks!

Very excited about our first visit to PV! We will be staying at velas vallarta(time share owners).We will be traveling with our 9 and 4 1/2 year old boys. Any tiips or suggestions? Any off the resort we may all enjoy? Local restaurant with REAL mexican food? Thanks!

when were you ther last? we are signed up for an all inclusive and also were told there are kids programs from 10-4pm.Anybody know anything more?

They are not near your hotel but if you want to have dinner in Old Town both Cafe de Olla on Basilo Badillo or The Red Cabbage in the Remance district serve very nice Mexican food.
