Hello,

We have just booked our trip for PV and we are excited! We will be in PV from Sept 27th - Oct 4th and this is both of our first time to visit PV.
I am currently reviewing this forum and others to get my answers, but I thought I would go ahead and ask.
-What do you recommend for a first timer? What to see, what to do, where to eat, what to bring, etc.
-We are staying at the GCP, the adults only all-inclusive resort. Has anyone stayed here recently? Is it as wonderful as everyone says?
-How is the beach and the water at the resort. We both love the beach and love swimming in the ocean. Is the water rocky at all? Being the Pacific, what is the temp of the water like?
-We have booked the Adventure Canopy Tour and a dolphin tour where we take a catamaran to a destination to swim, snorkel, see dolphins in their natural habitat, etc. Has anyone taken these tours before?
-The Adventure Canopy Tour is mentioned to be a seven (7) hour tour
-The dolphin tour is

Any other help would be great!

Thanks

be prepared for some heat and humidity. the ocean temp is warm to hot. pat is right, the thunder storms are awesome, and bring a little relief for the heat. walk to the southside, stop in at andales for a big margarita, get tacos from the street vendor taco stands, have a blast, etc.....
we will be in pv for the fist time that week as well, for our honeymoon. :)
we are staying at the dreams though, but are also gonna do the advernture canopy tour and the thing with the dolphins in the wild!
Jellyfish
Hi again,
As I am reading the posts in this forum and in others, I am seeing a few reports of swarms of jellyfish and people being stung by rays. Is this a big problem? Do we need to be extra cautious when swimming at the beach, or out on the dolphin excursion?
Thanks again!
