Geckos, etc.

Started January 28, 2002 · 6,248 views · 3 posts
I am sooooo scared of little creatures. I heard they have geckos and lizards in Mexico. We are going to PV next month and a bit worried about this dilemma. Should I be concerned about little creatures getting into our hotel room or are they scared of me?? Help please!THANKS.

Re:Geckos, etc.
My 13 year old daughter and I were in PV in December. We left the doors open and the small light on in the evening so when we would come back to our room we would be greeted by Geckos! We loved them! They became a very welcome part of our trip. (We are definitely reptile people tho!)
Re:Geckos, etc.
We need the geckos! They eat the bugs, year round and provide great little chirping sounds, happy sounds! They are everywhere, cannot avoid them. Re the dangerous black iguana mentioned....that will be something you will rarely see, or get close to. I have a family that live on my roof. I love em! I toss up orange peels, etc to keep them happy. They are called garobos, (I am sure that is not the correct spelling). Remember you are in a tropical area here, thus tropical critters.
