How is the weather this month in June?

We are traveling back to PV after 5 years and wanted to ask about the weather during the month of June...let me know. Also if anyone knows if Samba Vallarta is a good resort to stay at? Any feedback would be great.

The weather in June is just starting to heat up. Humidity is going up but not that unbearable. June is also the start of the rainy season so you may get a little rain in the afternoon/evening. I love PV in June.

I believe Samba Vallarta is actually in Nuevo Vallarta, right? It is a good 45 minutes to get into the town of Puerto Vallarta. The beaches are nice but it is more of a resort atmosphere than Puerto Vallarta.
