Insurance for Rental Cars

I would like to know what type of insurance (Collision and Liability) should be bought while renting a car in PV? Any of these mandatory? My credit card covers the collision 100%.

Just for the record. I have rented many times in PV and have collision coverage on my AMERICAN credit card. It is does not apply to rentals in PV. When you rent a car in PV IT IS MANDATORY that you take their insurance - otherwise no rental. No exceptions.

The rental rate on the rental car in PV will include their insurance. Trust me - you do not want to waive their insurance.

I too have rented cars in PV for years. My credit card DOES provide insurance coverage in PV. Check with your credit card before you leave. Gold and Platinum cards usually cover more than standard credit cards do. It depends on who your card is with and what type of card you have. My rental company has NEVER told me it was mandatory to take their insurance when I give them my credit card and tell them it is covered!
