Just a thought...

TA has been known to be a little bit more \"negative\" on some resorts because they are such a hold on the market for information... so there are people out there that will \"trash talk\" a resort to death and then there are those of us that will come along and talk highly about the place... case in point, we had a couple that just \"ragged\" about the GCP... and during their entire trip they were sitting near some repeaters that frequent both boards... and when she let loose with a mile long rash of stuff... she was called on it... he told her where she was sitting, what she was wearing and how she was acting towards the staff... and at no time did she complain... she was laughing the enitre week, never missed a drink or a meal, yet complained of the food, drinks and service, and said how sick they were during their vacation, yet they could sit out in the sun every day, and consume mass quantities of alcohol and food... it is like HELLO.... and there are rumors that resorts will \"time shark\" people into posting negative comments and divert people to their resorts... but you can never really prove it either...

trust me i know... as i have often been accused of that because of the love i have for the staff and resort - GCP.... so just like anything else in this world... you have to read between the lines, with your tongue in cheek and a grain of salt....

The truth is, unfortuanately, that people that have a problem are far more likely to vent, then people that have had a good time. It is very much like when you receive a note from an Automobile Company, after you brought your vehicle in for Warranty service. If you are happy you will probably throw the inquiry away. If you are unhappy, you will sure let them know. It is a fact that this is the norm.
Just one Mexican Minute
It is a very well known fact , when you are told by someone in Mexico it will be a minute always ask \" is that one Mexican minute\"

Truth be told the people there do not sweat the small stuff( or the big stuff for that matter ) they must think that tourists are crazy the way we worry and are always in a hurry .

If you have a contact for your wedding plans I would definitly stay in touch and DO NOT BE AFRAID to contact the general manager of the resort if you think your not being looked after the biggest mistake people make is just accepting poor service.

Hope everything turns out OK .
time...
there ya go Jen, sounding like a lawyer :D good advice.
