New to PV

Hello everyone,

I am new to PV so have a few of those newbie questions you all love so much :)

Going June 21-28 4 women sans husbands

A friend of a friend has a villa in the El Centro area they are willing to rent and I would like to know about the area ie; safety, ease of getting around, restaurants, etc.

Also any suggestions on things we must see and do.
