Pesos vs US cash

Hi,
Me again! Going in February. Do people recommend that I exchange $ for pesos before arriving to PV or can I wait. Also, will the taxi drivers accept US cash for the ride from the airport to the hotel?

Exchange a little before you arrive to pay taxi fare if you need one. We usually find a better exchange rate while we are down there compared to what we find up here at the airport.

you can pay in USD or peso for a regulated taxi which is the normal way to leave the airport (unless you have hotel service or are willing to go out on foot for a local cab or public bus).
