Hi Parrot
It really depends on what you are looking for. In Cabo sa Jose there is a pleasant little town and some good hotels, but you can not swim in the Sea at any of them due to the rip tides. In Cabo san Lucas there are better upscale hotels, more resturants and bars and basically one good beach to walk to. There are lots of
tours that will take you to great diving spots at both. They are both crass little towns that have great appeal to some. The fishing is definitely better than in PV.
PV offers hotels, bars and resturants in all classes and almost always you can swim in anything you see. PV as well offers dozens of more tours and
activities and ambience.
With a good attitude you can enjoy either. Its much like my experience ie. I never liked Vancouver until I saw Toronto!
