Regarding golf in PV....quite a few to choose from, but not cheap. I myself will play at the new El Tigre, which is part of Paradise Village Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. I have also played the new Vista course and the Marina course. The Marina course is pretty and somewhat inexpensive ($90US with cart) Vista was $120. Los Flamigos is OK and is walkable with a caddy. Golf is about $45US and a tip for the caddy of $10 is good.
