After a long marriage ended in divorce, I have met a great guy and we are going to PV the week of October 3rd. Need info on what to do for a romantic, much deserved get-away. Any information would be appreciated.

Try Caleatas. There are two tours: one in the day and one in the evening. Both are quiet and the island is fairly secluded. The food they serve is fantastic and there are open-air cabanas where you can get a wonderful message. Have fun!!

Caleatas? I was unable to locate this on the web...is this a beach? How would you get there from the hotel district?
Re:Romance desired
Las Caletas is a private beach accusable only by boat, from the hotel zone you would catch the one from the marina. There is a Las Caletas day tour where you can go snorkeling, kayaking, get a massage or just lay in a hammock, lunch is provided. Then the is Rhythms of the Night which takes you to the beach for dinner and a show.
These can be booked from the main part of this website, or from Vallarta Adventures who run the two tours.
For a romantic dinner try River Cafe or Barcelona Tapas, I highly recommend both.
