We just returned from P.V. and stayed at the Velas Vallarta 4th floor and we went fishing on sun nov 3rd come back at 3pm and our safe in our room had been broken into with a crowbar took all of our cash we enjoyed our stay anyway, the police showed up on thursday nov 7th took a report and said good luck just like everthing else in Mexico laid back and no hurry, the hotel tried to get us to sign a release form but i read the fine print they was upset that i would not sign it but got over it my advice if you are going to take cash keep it on you at all times do not trust the room safe.
