Water Question

Everyone washes dishes in hot tap water and dries them. Not a problem or one that I have ever come across.

A good many of the locals drink the water straight out of the tap, and lived to tell the tale. I have drank it, and it tastes a whole lot better than what comes out of the tap here in Los Angeles.

I have a friend down there who says you can spot a tourist because they carry a bottle of water, which I do, but that is out of habit from doing it here in the states.

For the past 3 years, we have stayed in Bucerias. Of course, we drink bottled water there. But I simply do dishes like I do at home--wash in hot, soapy water and rinse with hot water. We have suffered no ill effects.
