Yelapa vs. Las Animas

I posted this question on another board but maybe I can get some more opinions here. I was totally set to go to Yelapa and now we are thinking about Las Animas instead. If you have been what is your opinion? Thanks for any help.

There are no water taxis to Yelapa from Mismaloya, I think you mean from Boca de Tomatlan and the price is 60 pesos each way. http://vallarta-info.com/yelapa.html

Sorry, I forgot that we had to go to Boca. We alway went with the twin engine taxi and it was 300 pesos for the two of us round trip, which we thought was a good deal concidering some of the \"cruise\" prices. What is the large cove / village between Boca & Yalapa? It looked like there was some protected coves that could be snorkled. Is it possable to be dropped off along the coast?
