1st timer away from home

My husband and I just returned May11th, our first time in PV. Stay off the beaches at night, we had a problem with a local man who became very angry ,swearing at us for not buying his postcards. From then on we just stayed off the beaches at night time. We found it to be very safe, malecon area was also very safe, lots of people around, they should have a blast! beware of any timeshare salesman.

I have been visiting PV for over 20 years, and never once had a problem (only problems created by me). PV has changed over the years, and you see many more street kids from Guadalajara hanging out on the streets, sniffing glue/paint and taking and selling drugs. BUYING DRUGS IN MEXICO IS A MAJOR NONO. ITS NOT WORTH A QUICK HIGH. If you need a buzz, stick with tequila. Do not drink more than you can handle. They guys and some girls will take advantage.
