a place to stay in the old town

Hi, i will be staying in puerto vallarta this may 13 - 18. I have not reserved a place and wam interestedin staying in the old part of town. This is my first visit so any info anyone can give me regarding recommended places to stay will be most welcome. I am not interested in spending a lot of money, but want somehwere clean and close to the nightlife and beaches.

Any advice would be very welcome and appreciated

Try Hotel Yasmin on the corner of Olas Altas/Basilio Badillo, right near Cafe de Olla. Clean and inexpensive, block off the beach.

Other options in Old Town, little further walk to the beach, but still good:

Posada de Roger
Frankfurt
Hotel Alegre (only about block & a half)

All inexpensive, clean, safe.

jasmin & hotel frankfurt are verry good !! MY personal choice is maria elena 1 block fromthe beach near ollas alltas . check the webside www.casamariaelena.com . tell maria manfred from canada send YOU!!!
