Alegre, Frankfurt or Andale - Any advice?

have stayed at the Alegre and found it very nice, only drawback was the small and I do mean small shower. They have a great pool which for us made up for the shower. You are 1/2 block off rhe main street for that area ,close to everything.Have a wonderful trip.

I disagree about the Frankfurt- we love it! And it is inexpensive, clean, quiet. They have done a lovely job on their courtyard. It is close to everything, and the owner is a very nice man! Go for it!

love to frankfurt verrymuch , nice &clean to. great food in the restaurant TO !!!maybe sold out rigth now !!have a nice vacation

Stayed at the Alegre November 2001, clean, rustic furnishings, true about small shower - room had cable TV, safety deposit box (small fee), refrigerator & A/C with ceiling fan. Nice pool with patio tables & umbrellas to relax with a cool drink. Staff was very hospitable, great little bakery right next door for a quick morning treat. Received a discount when paying cash USD so for the week the room averaged 26-27 bucks a night. Close to everything, also there is a great place right across the street for fabulous massages. Enjoy your trip!
