All Inclusive Or Time Share?

Started July 16, 2007 · 19,614 views · 6 posts
I can get a time share for $400 for a week in December but was wondering if I am better off going with an all inclusive package that would include flight, hotel, food and drinks or taking the time share and going out on our own with flight, food and drinks?

Also how is the weather there in early December?

Thanks in advance

Yes the time share does have a kitchen. Flight for 2 people looks like $1200 from Chicago.

Just not sure how much to budget for food and drinks for a week.

We prefer AI :) ....The deals are just too good...
One of my sons works for West Jet...
Since West Jet is going to be flying sheduled flights to Mexico I have been doing a lot of searching on line to see if with our parents passes (taxes and flight fee of 20 ..30 or 40 dollars )and buying Resort rooms and paying for all food and drinks plus transfers from airport to Resort can beat AI...
So far I have nothing that can beat the prices of AI..
In my humble :)
Nothing but oneself will hold a person back from exploring what a city and area has to offer..
Condo has a Kitchenette
We are going to go with the time share condo and go off on our own for food and drinks and do some cooking at condo.

Are there places where you can buy seafood reasonably and take home and cook it? Beef I would be leery of buying.

I agree with most. This will be my 13th trip in october and we did the hotels for a few years and now we stay at lapalapa condos and shop for breakfast & snack items. We always go out for dinner! We keep cold beers and beverages in the condo too! good luck!
