I will be in PV for five days by myself (female, early 30s) before meeting up with family for 5 nights at the Grand Velas. I am trying to decide where I should stay until then. I was thinking I should stay in PV rather than Nuevo since I will be there for the last part of the trip. I am not looking to party. I simply want to relax. At this point I think I have narrowed things down to Villa Premiere and the Marriott, based on reviews and prices. I think I would prefer the Villa Premiere but I am concerned about the beach not being that great. Any thoughts? Any other better suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!

P.S. If I end up at the Villa Premiere and choose not to do the AI for the whole time, are there restaurants nearby?
