Assuming this is your first trip to PV??? One thing to realize about anything \"Nuevo\" is you will be about 1/2 hour north from downtown PV. This could be fine if you mostly want to relax at a nice resort, but (myself) being a huge fan of Puerto Vallarta, would find it an incredible inconvenience staying so far away... from all the friendly local people, restaurants, shops, downtown beach, Malecon, cathedral, favorite smaller hotels, taco stands, breakfast places, etc.
