Beaches around the Velas Vallarta?

Staying at the Velas next year and am wondering how the beaches are around the resort?

When are you going to PV? My wife and I are going 2-11-05 for 7 days and staying at this resort. This will be our second time to PV, last in 97. The beach looks good right at teh resort.

The beach at the Velas is very nice as PV beaches go...it is not the Carribean. But, PV itself more than makes up for being on the Pacific!! The Velas is a great hotel, very personal and much more \"Mexican feeling\" than some others. Have a great time!!!

and, the Velas has some of the nicest beach area in the Marina...I think you will really like it, a beautiful hotel all around.
