As many on this board will tell you it is a great resort , have stayed there many times and have no trouble recomending this place.

It \"s location is right on the beach and 30 pesos by cab down town and I think its about 4 pesos by bus . The adults only atmosphere is terrific and the food is all a la carte . Check out the website hope this helps . Good luck

Yes it is all inckusive , drinks are either standard or international , when you order just say (eg) Absolut or Bacardis otherwise you get the local booze . Food , there are three restaurants , they go up from the Belavista ,shorts and beach clothes are allowed to the Paradise, no shorts better food to Salvadors where I have had some of the best food anywhere ( no shorts or jeans ) .The beach is really nice lots of activities etc or just kick back and do nothing . Ther esort itself as I said is adults only and the staff there really go out of there way to make you feel at home. You also have access to the sister resort next door which includes the 3 restaurants there as well as the bars and they have there own nightclub which again you have complete access too including drinks and nightly shows . So at the Crown all food is A la carte no buffets the resorts is beautiful close to town 4 pesos by bus or 30 pesos by cab ,Here is the website http://www.crownparadise.com ..............hope this helps ...if you search this website your on now there are many reviews from others under trip reports .

Si, the Crown Paradise, and we will be there in 22 days. Boy do I need the R&R and this is the place to get it. NO KIDS and excellent service, beautiful grounds, and exceptionally clean. This will be our 10th stay in 5 years. No brag just fact. The food is very good with 3 resturants on site and your ability to eat next door at the Playa del Oro 4 more restrurants last time I counted. The drinks are premium not watered down and pleantiful throughout the day. My bloody Marys start at 7:30 am with Aldo at the Breezes bar on the beach. This place is also really close to town and only 5 min from the airport.

The beach is pretty good lots of sand you can walk all the weay downtown if you want , the swimming is good the water ios generally not clear enough for snorkeling as the waves can be pretty big at times but all in all a great beach and even better resort .

The beach is actually pretty good for that area. Shoulder depth out about 50 feet, water not clear but mostly mild waves and refreshing. I like to take a beer or two outthere and just let the swells roll over your shoulders while you drink. It is also a good vantage point for watching the para-sailers. The depth of the beach from the pool area to the water line is resepectable and is usually free of debris. I know everyone has a favorite place, but there are alot of us who return to the Crown Paradise year after year.
We arrive in just 18 days from this posting. The CP is not the cheapest nor the most expensive AI available, but the drinks, food, service and staff make this resort a big bang for your buck.

If you check the weather link on this site you will see that on average there is 1 rainy day in Feb in Puerto Vallarta , as for Mexican holidays there is a link as well for that I believe the next big holiday in Mexico is May 5th .The rainy season in Mexico is the summer months .Enjoy ....

Although the water is purified in Puerto Vallarta we always use the bottled water provided , even for brushing your teeth , better safe than soory , if you run out just call the front desk and ask for more .As for specialties of the house Spanish coffeee is my favorite and check out the trip report sections for more details from the Crown Paradise fanatics.

Hi. This will be our 5th trip to P.V. We always stay at the Mayan in the Marina. It is not A/I but we love it.
Can you tell me roughly what to expect to pay for 1 week at the Crown Royal? And it sounds like you are talking American $$S. We are Canadian. I would like to try your resort some year for a week.

Hello my Northern friends. In usd$ and depending on the time of year we pay $800 - $1050 / person for 8 days 7 nights from St.Louis, MO using Funjet. I still consider this resort a big bang for my $$$.
