me and partner stayed at bbg in september it was brilliant we are not party goers and it was fantastic it is only a 5minute taxi ride to the centre.
bbg is adults only so lots of peace and quiet id reccomend it to anyone.
its a lot better than blubay club,better location a bit lower down and a lot cleaner.

In all truth, nowhere is far from the Marina south to Olas Altas (Old Town) We have never stayed anywhere but the Marina area and for a few dollars we are at the Malecon and Old Town every day (sometimes twice) Walking would eat up the sightseeing and drinking time. Take cabs or buses

Wife and I stayed at the resort in August/2001. Loved the place. Staff/food/location was great. We liked it so much we are returning this Summer. A staff member did tell us they were wanting the hotel to turn into more of a party resort. Unsure if they got that done or not.
