I was wondering if anyone knows what international alcohols they carry @ the GCP. I have stayed there before and they hide all the good bottles, and you have to ask if you dont want to drink the low budget stuff. I am not a big drinker, however, when i do have a drink, i like to enjoy it. I have tried emailing them but to no avail. Anyone have a clue?. :?

Like i said, i am not a big drinker, and i would rather just pick up a nice bottle of red wine (at the walmart of all places) and bring it to dinner anyway than drink swimming pools all day (if they still serve those LOL).
Sol and Ramirez could serve me piss in a cup for all i care, THEY made our stay by the pool exceptional, NOT the drinks.:)

Well i will have to be sure to bring some of our canadian wines from the niagara region.... maybe thats what ramirez and sol will get as gifts! and i have a fab bottle of baco noir for danny.. lol..

Sorry Tom, just had to write. Here in Saskatchewan we have some nice tasting wines made from our local berry the Sasktoon. Please assure me that the wines in Iowa are not made from Corn.

Here just 30 min west of STL we have so many winerys. Lots of German and Italian decendents have brought the vinards and winerys up to world class standards since prohibition with some of their grape varieties.
Any Norton, a native grape of Missouri, makes a very complex and enjoyable wine, deep red and very oaky. That is by far my favorite local wine commanding prices from $25-50 per bottle.
But on a daily basis I prefer to drink, Australian merlos, cabernates and shirz and French Bordeauxs either red or white. luckily we have a super liquore store near us with an incredible variety and stock and one can easily by these every day, totaly drinkable wines for $7-12 per bottle.

Thanks for the wine education, all I know is by taste, do enjoy a good wine with no \"bite\" to it. Have enjoyed and will continue to do so the wine served at both Salvadors and the Paradise. Was just curious about the expanded list.

got that right littlejon... first pinch nose shut with clothes pin... second open jar (reminder please distinguish all flames within 100 ft).... third take a sip, swallow immediately... do not hold or swish in your mouth, it will melt your filling and any bridge work you may have... when going to restrooms, please distinguish all flames within 500 ft just as a precautionary..... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
