Budget but nice accomodations in Zona Romantica???

We are looking for budget friendly but nice accomodations($40-70/night) in Zona Romantica for 2 nights in June before we head to Sayulita for the rest of our Honeymoon. Can anyone recommend anything? We have looked into VRBO and PVRPV.

The Vallarta Sun Suites are $89/night...the hotel is a block north of that, and when I pulled up random dates in June, the price average was $59/night.

There are two locations and folks often confuse the pricing of the suites (which have sitting areas and kitchenettes) to that of the hotel rooms.

The same one you are - the Suites and hotel are listed under the same profile because they are owned by the same company and are only a block apart. The distinction comes when you enter your dates.

When you enter your dates you will see TWO sets of pricing with the designation beside it of either \"Suites\" or \"Hotel Room - European Plan\" or something like that. The hotel room pricing is the one I referred to.

Another that you can check is Casa Isabel. It is not right on the beach but the views look outstanding! The hotel rooms in June are listed at $65 per night and the studios are $90.
