Buenaventura Hotel and Beach Club

We are booked in the Buenaventura from March 9 - 16th. Any advice/tips?

Nice resort - very close to downtown . Seems to be a very popular choice - I think you will enjoy your vacation. I would say a solid 3 star resort. We stayed next door at sister hotel Premiere in Oct 2004 and had use of the Buenaventuras facilities. Lots of poolside activities and the beach was wide and well maintained. You are a short stroll away from the Malecon and tons of bars/clubs/restaurants. Ley grocery store is just up the street- towards downtown- or head the other way and Mega grocery store is a 15min walk into the hotel zone. Lucky you !

Marcos - thank you so much for your reply! I agree about treating the staff well - we love the people of Mexico so much that not having a relationship with the staff would make us not enjoy our tip as much. :)
