Buenaventura vs Las Palmas

We are traveling to PV Feb 21 for two weeks . Has any one stayed at the Buenaventura lately ? and if so what shape is the Hotel in , are all pools open and fully functional is the Beach fully restored ie: Palaps back up , is the pool bar functional . any information you could give will be greatly appreciated ?? am looking foward to trip regardless we need to soak up some sun it is - 17 deg C or for my American Friends that interprets to 2 deg F or _______ cold .

i agree that is *(&^%$( cold!!! That is the reason I am going to PV!
