Buenoventura

My wife and I stayed at the Golden Crown Paradise last year and had a fabulous time. Now we want to take my in-laws (well, my wife does). Although we loved the GCP, we are thinking of staying closer to town (something that would beeasy to walk to Malecon). What are everyones opions of the Buenoventura?? We want to do the AI route so my MIL does not drive us all nuts!!

No opinion, but I do think the Buenaventura is the closest A-I hotel to The Malecon. Anyone else?

Thanks for the reply. I hope it will be OK, but, thought this would be a good venue to ask... I know 4 sets of people that are down in PV right now!! And one couple that just came back.... I need to go real bad.... LOL

I´m in PV right now, as a matter of fact. We don´t stay in hotels anymore but in the past stayed at the Buenaventura twice and like it alot. However, if you haven´t booked yet, give some thought to the Hotel San Marino. It is All inclusive and is in a much, much better location (from my point of view and experience) than the Buenaventura.
