Someone has told me that the Beunoventura has free wireless internet at certian points in the resort..Is this true?

I know when I went last November I just popped into the internet cafe by the Golden crown for $1 an hour internet usage....so that was very cheap!!

I was also wondering how safe it is to bring my laptop...even if just to use for music and to download my pictures daily???
