Camino Real

Hey, can anyone tell me if the Camino Real Hotel is a good place to stay? If not, what hotel or area of town do you recommend?

I was at the Camino Real for the 3rd time from April 3 thru the 11th. I really love the hotel. We stay in the club rooms which include a great breakfast seved outside on a small cliff over the bay. The beach is great and private...vendors never bother you. The staff was great, we had no complaints about anything. My husband and I brought our 2 boys ages 6 and 9 for the 1st time and they had a great time. If you have any questions let me know.

I just read about the Camino Real being sold after 35 years and will now be a luxury..all inclusive...hotel named Dream Resort and Spa..Does anyone have any info on this.?
I have spent the past 3 years vacationing there and was just ready to look into booking again for late this year..

Yes, it is a great place to stay. But the hotel has been sold as is changing hands as of 06/30
