We (a group of 5 adults) stayed at the Krystal last year and loved it.
The grounds are really pretty – lots of cobblestone walkways, fountains and palm trees. In some of the trees there are iguanas.
There was also an adorable kitty that lived in the bushes across the way from our room. She was very sweet and we cleverly named her Gato.
The swim up bar is heaven on earth. All the busy bartenders are very friendly and make whatever you ask for with a smile. I wish I were there right now…
The food was pretty good. We ate breakfast there several times. Lots of fresh fruit, Mexican specialties, juice and coffee, omelet bar and so on.
It is on a good and handy location. It’s an easy bus ride or a $3 taxi fare into town. Walking distance to the marina for boat
tours – highly recommended!
There are several great
restaurants right around the place. We had these great traditional Mexican breakfasts for $3 – eggs scrambled with meat of your choice, served with beans and fresh hand made tortillas. Yum yum.
Anyway, I think you will be happy.
