Keep in mind, some hotels, not all, cut down their activities/ and or activities teams for the low season. This could also include aiming most activities to the Spanish speaking tourist there during the summer months. Most hotels have a totally different clientele in the winter versus the summer. This can also include some snack bars/
restaurants having limited hours or not being open, espeically during the slooooow months, like end of August and September.
July is a pretty high season, but mainly families from the inland cities of MX, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, MX D.F. and so on.
It is still a great time to come, you will get a lot more culture, lower prices, and hey, you will be amongst people who can hold their tequilla ( hehehehehe)
;)
