Canto del Sol DESPERATE for Tips/Reassurances

Just wondering if you have contacted the Canto Del Sol with your questions? Chuck

agreed with CharlieB here... have you gone to their website and tried contacting the resort directly with your questions. Granted their e-mails may be slow getting back to you, but try that... and some of the resorts have LA based companies that help with sales and promotions of their facilities... you may want to check there as well to see what you can find out... deep breath and take care... i am sure it will all work out for you....

***I have indeed contacted Canto Del Sol and they were slow in responding...the person who did respond indicated in sortof chopped up English, to the best of my interpretation, that they only have standard rooms with either a king size or two double beds...yet I have read online many comments from other peopel about suites, connecting living rooms and sofa beds, so I am confused. I have read messages about some people getting room upgrades that were apparently huge rooms and more than big enough, but I would think the size of our family would automatically have us placed in one of these??? I am calming down, and will take what I get, lol....but it sure would be so fantastic to have space!!!! Thanks for your responses!

I have stayed there. They have several rooms that connect to the other room beside it which gives you a lot of room. Request this type of set up and i think youll be happy. The rooms were real nice but the locals partying at nite in the pool so i would suggest a room facing on the north side of the building giving you a partial view of the ocean and a lot quieter. Ill be down next week if i can help you out. Doug

Sounds like things are moving ahead for you. Good luck and have a great time in Vallarta. Just remember to take deep breaths, calm down, and everything will be just fine. Most of these resorts do want more and more repeat guests year after year. So i am sure they will sit down with you once you arrive and try to make every effort to make your vist the very best.
