Cantos Del Sol Plaza Vallarta

I was just wondering if anybody has any information good or bad about this hotel?

We stayed in a 2 BR last January and were joined by another couple from our home state. It’s is a nice smaller resort. It’s cozy, and filled with lots of friendly guests. It did suffer some Kenna damage, but continues to operate nicely. The rooms were large but minimally furnished. (e.g. guests need to check out a remote control from the front desk if you want one.) The rooms were adequate, but if you choose the CP, be ready for very hard beds. This was a problem for my wife, but I slept OK. The resort had activities for guests every evening. For the poolside rooms, it was pretty loud until about 10 p.m. We heard a number of vacationers observe that the night was young, . . . but they were not. The CdS has an all-inclusive optional feature. Since PV has so many super places to eat, we did not choose the AI, but we did eat several meals at the restaurant, and the food was always quite good. We thought it was a nice resort, but it’s not in the Westin Regina (5*) class. The TUG rating is 6.81 PVRichard

yep my bed was hard.......... I also have pictures for Kim if she would like. we were there Nov 20 to Dec 5 2003

My husband and I just got back from the Canto Del Sol! It was great, our bed was comfortable and the view was nice. Food was good and the staff outstanding! Have a great time. We are going back next year!

Just finished my trip report with much info on Canto Del Sol - and lots of photos. I just booked our November trip. Nov. 24 to Dec 12. Now just stay healthy and no sick days between now and then, save my PTO days and here I come!!
