casa andrea still good?

Read great reviews but our recent emails there go unanswered. We hpoe to visit in November. Any thoughts?

They are always bad on responding to email. Give them a call.

If you want prime time, they may be holding openings for their regulars.

Thanks for your info though being a hotel you think they would do a simple email response. We like the location and Tripadvisor reviews though in a pinch the Los Arcos hotels have the good location (without the small hotel ambience). Casa Andrea still worth the effort right?

Casa Andrea finally replied and our reservation check is on the way (to Michigan!)

I read casaandrea is on a hill? How high can a hill be 2 blocks from the beach or are the tripadvisor people blowing smoke?

I would guess that it is 60-70 paces up from the sand. Most people would consider this no problem. But I would not want to push a wheelchair up there a couple of times a day.

1.5 blocks from the beach.

(Edit: changed steps to paces for clarity after receiving an attack by Casa Andrea management. The owner confirmed that there are 28 stairsteps up from the sand. Some of the sidewalks are also at an incline in the first block.)
