Celebrating our Anniversary at Villa Del Palmar

I was at the vila del palmar in Feb and it was a mad house all of the time share people from the sheraton are staying there and it was crazy when you have to get up at 3:00am to get a chair by the pool was a little bit to much for me and the staff was overwhelmed by the number of people.

I have been staying at VDP for the past 13 years, several times a year, but always in Nov and Dec.! If what was posted by smooooth took place on an ongoing basis no one would stay there! I was at VDP in Nov/Dec. shortly after hurricane Kenna and the entire resort was being run as usual. They are very strict as to the hours for the pool and noise at night. People do go down to the beach early and reserve chairs so if you do not go down to the beach until late in the morning you will probably not find a place in the shade, but I have never had to problem, someone is always willing to share their shade with you.
