Cheap Accommodation

Hows it Going?
Im heading to PV in mid-july and was wondering if anyone could recommend some cheap accom.

Hotel Alegre - My favorite place to stay in Vallarta. Simple, small, quiet, friendly, clean, one block from the beach, air conditioning, refridgerators, cable tv, in room safes, and a leafy pool/patio to escape to. Rates run about U.S. $35 to $58 (july is low season, so ask for a discount if staying a week or more). Francisca Rodriguez 168, Olas Altas/Los Muertos (straight up from the new pier), Tel. Another cheapie but a goodie is the Posada de Roger on Badillo, next to El Tucan Restaurant. Have many friends who have stayed here over the years, and refuse to stay anywhere else they love it so much. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, clubs. Rates run about $45 US a night in high season for a basic room, but could be less now. Great rooftop patio and pool.

I have gone to PV for the past 6 years and always stay at Club Meza del Mar. All inclusive, 2 pools, hot tub, on the beach, close to town and VERY CHEAP. Pricing somewhere in the $40-$55 range, depending upon your room.

Very Mexican, you will love it.
