Christmas in PV

We are coming to PV on Dec 18 and want to stay in town for5 days then go outside of PV over Xmas to a quieter beach, then go to Mexico City. Any recommendations about inexpensive accommodations would be appreciated. Thanks

THERE ARE MANY LOCATIONS SOUTH OF THE RIVER. EVERY ONE HAS THEIR OWN FAVORITE. I HAVE STAYED AT THE MEZA DEL MAR FOR 10 YEARS. SIMPLE, INEXPENSIVE, CLEAN,GOOD BEACH, GOOD POOL, GOOD FOOD, IT IS AN AI.THIS IS WHAT I CALL A TRADITIONAL TYPE OF HOTEL, NOT A RESORT TYPE OF HOTEL.HAVE FUN, ENJOY THIS GREAT TOWN.
