we will be visiting the club velas vallarta in febuary can anybody tell me the pros or cons of this resort

have not stayed at this resort, but visited friends there for the day. it is quite impressive. we stayed by the pool most of the time. the pool is quite expansive and there are always poolside activities going on.

This coming October/November will be our 6th year there since we bought a T/S. We love everything about it. The place is beautiful and well kept. The Pools are wonderful and the Beach is just fine. The Marina area has loads to offer and Downtown is a 15 minute Taxi ride. The Velas has on the premises, a 4 star Restaurant in Andreas. They have upgraded the Velas Vallarta to be like the Grand Velas. I personally would not go to NV. Way to far from the action as far as I am concerned. They did a major renovation last October and work on improvements all the time..
