Just returned from a week stay at Viva Vallarta and was kind of dissapointed. I have stayed at many tropical resorts in the past several years so I have alot to compare to. The resort was simply not that great. Food not very good. Mostly a mexican family vacation spot. I would have liked more english speaking people to meet and party with. Not in a good tropical location. Beach is rocky. Pool # 1 solid sceaming kids. Pool #2 dead and elevator music. No beach bar. No swim up pool bar. Too far from town . On the good side service is excellent and the activities poeple are awesome. Great shows at night.
