Conditions of the beach and "Las Plamas" resort.

Im heading to PV in November and we are staying in Las Palmas. Does anyone know how the beach is? is there a beach anymore? in the hotel zone is there still vendors walking up and down the beach in front of the resorts? is there still a beach bar at las palmas? we were there 6 years ago and i hope things havent changed that much.. i appreciate any input

w00t w00t!! best news i have heard all day! any posts i have read are from spring of this year and have said the beaches are all rocks and pebbles.. im very happy to hear that the hotel zone beaches are back to normal.. anyone else got any info on Las Palmas? do they still have a beach bar? is George still working there.. lol
