Just got back from our trip to PV (April 2 - 9) This was a our first visit to PV so we only booked a one week trip. Boy did we regret that decision. There is so much to do and so we kept a pretty busy pace and would have also liked to have more days just vedging by the pool.
We stayed at the Costa Club Punta Arena and just loved it. The staff were so good to my husband, kids and I.... we felt like we were part of their family. This is definitely a resort better suited to families so if you are going to go to party really hard, then you should instead try next door at the Getaway club.

We were greeted to our room which had a living room and bedroom with a large plate of fresh fruit and as well the next day the maids were quick to come and ask us if we would like more towels or water.

The food was average... but we enjoyed it. The drinks were great and the activity staff worked so hard. We truly will go back as we paid so little for our stay there that we also could afford to go out for some nice meals in downtown PV. Tried the Blue Shrimp and Robertos and loved both of them.

Also got our laundrey done at a place called Splash Lavantria and it was the best choice. $8 pesos a kg (we had 9 kilo) and it was washed and folded for us so we just needed to pack and go home. It also smelled just wonderful.

We met a very nice family from Guadalajara who have asked us to visit them on our next visit back. We are already trying to plan our next trip.
