Just a word of caution here , as posted on trip advisor the Crown (GOLDEN) has reportedly left more than a few travellers sick.As mentioned in the review on Trip ADV I have also witnessed the bartenders rinsing straws and putting them back in the dispenser for the next guest as well if you have the chance watch at the bar they give a token rinse in cold water to the dirty glasses and then serve them right up again to the next guest . HEP A HEP B get your shots I have seen the glass rinsing at other resorts but this is the only place where I have seen them rinse straws! I realize most travelleres illness are usually self inflicted , too much booze and sun but in this day and age you are really putting yourself at risk , you are basically drinking the same drink as the last two people had.

I have spent many hours setting at the bars at the GCP and not witnessed anything close to the above post. And neither in the 11 trips to this particular hotel has my wife or I or any of the many couples we have come there with have gotten sick from either food or drink served there.
