crown paradise room help

the hotel has oceanview, and oceanfront rooms......

we stayed in an oceanfront....advantages, over the beach so less pool noise and music, faces directly the sunset, closest to the breeze bar and food, and by far closest to the waves..........disadvantages, a little more cost per day.....

at the same time, we would also consider the other rooms, as they all have ocean views of some sort (some slanted toward the bay, some well back behind the pool and bar area).....

it is a terrific hotel, either way you go you will not be disappointed.

All rooms at the Crown have views of the ocean. Oceanfront rooms are usually more expensive (unless you find a special). Bob & I have stayed at the Crown 5 times...3 times in oceanview rooms & 2 times in oceanfront rooms. If you stay in an oceanview room, request a room with the last two numbers ending 00,01,02,03. The lower the last 2 numbers are, the closer to the ocean they are. Note that the closer to the lobby & main area you are, the closer to the bar area & the farther from the ocean you are. Although no room is bad, distance from the bar will help keep the noise down a little. Oceanview rooms allow you to watch all of the activities around the pool. Oceanfront rooms are close to the water & quieter when you are on the balcony, but you miss all the hotel action! All rooms have a balcony. When we were there last September, they were having problems with the elevators going up the oceanfront rooms. Hopefully, they have gotten them fixed, but if you would rather avoid the dilemma of having to walk up & down stairs because of slow elevators, the oceanview rooms might be the way for you to go. We love this resort. The people, the food, the drinks, the accommodations & the location cannot be matched anywhere. We hope to return again this fall for our 6th visit. Enjoy!
