Decameron or Canto Del Sol

We are planning on being in PV June 13-21. We are looking for info on either the Royal Decameron Costa Flamingos or the Canto Del Sol Plaza Vallarta. Any info will greatly be appreciated.

I will be at the Canto Del Sol Feb 28 to March 11. Hopefully this will not be to late to give you my opinion. Really looking forward to another trip to Mexico. Last couple of times we have stayed in Mazatlan at Emerald Bay Pueblo Bonito (this is a WONDERFUL place). Prices seem to be good at Canto Del Sol and most people have very nice things to say about it.

We are looking for rest and relaxation and a little of bit culture. We are not ones to go night clubbing so the night life in PV is not of much interest.

One thing we were interested in was if the Decameron was to far away to come into PV and do some of the tours and to go shopping.
