Re:Did not like the Crown Paradise
I read this topic, as we stayed for our honeymoon last October and are returning for our 1st anniversary Aug 29 for 7 glorious days. While we were there last year, we never saw any kids, yes the beds are hard, Im even thinking of buying a foam egg crate thing at wal mart when we get there, 15 dollars and comfy for 7 days is ok with me. Ive stayed at 6 star hotels and honestly I prefer the Crown to it all. I am sorry your stay was bad. While we were there, we got a great room, champagne, strawberries, great treatment. Of course we were in Mexico, not everything was perfect. Some other honeymooners were not as happy as us, the elevator was broke and they were having to walk up the stairs, it is hot and humid so that probably sucked. But all in all, I think the old saying holds true, your vacation is what you make of it, if you decide to have fun and go with the flow, you will have fun, if your let down or dissappointed and Im sure you were, Im sure you were very excited and expected romance and pampering, I know I did. Just think about the good things, like the sunset, the great food and drinks, the friendly staff that you met. I hope you return to PV, and if you stay a different hotel, write back, let us know how it went.
